Samakoba Magnet

Samakoba magnet

Samarium-cobalt magnets are sintered products primarily composed of samarium and cobalt. They possess excellent magnetic properties, second only to neodymium magnets. They are also resistant to high temperatures, but they are brittle, so care must be taken when handling them. Please start by trying the stock items. If you order in larger quantities, there will be a lot discount, so please consider it.

Samakoba magnet

It is a magnet with excellent temperature characteristics, strong magnetic force, and resistance to rust.

This is a rare earth magnet composed of samarium and cobalt. It has excellent temperature characteristics and stability even in high-temperature working environments. In working environments ranging from 250°C to 350°C, the maximum energy value reaches 29-32 MGOe. It also has high corrosion resistance, so surface treatments such as plating are unnecessary. 【Features】 ● It is ideal for applications requiring temperature stability and high-temperature conditions (250-350°C) due to its excellent temperature characteristics. ● It is more resistant to thermal demagnetization compared to neodymium magnets, demonstrating its superiority in high-temperature working environments. ● It is resistant to rust, so surface treatments such as plating are generally unnecessary. ● There are Sm2Co5 and Sm2Co17 systems with different composition ratios; the latter has better heat resistance and magnetic strength and can be adapted for machining. The former is relatively unsuitable for special shapes. ● It is widely used in precision instruments for special applications, aerospace and military parts, as well as medical devices like MRI machines, radar equipment, high-precision electronics, and stirrers. We have Japanese staff available. Please feel free to contact us for more details about the products.

Samakoba magnet

The magnet is powerful, yet resistant to rust and high temperatures! Samakoba magnet.

The "Samarium Cobalt Magnet" has a magnetic energy product second only to neodymium magnets, and it exhibits high corrosion resistance even without rust prevention treatment, along with excellent temperature characteristics, making it a strong high-temperature rare earth magnet. It is a sintered product mainly composed of samarium (Sm) and cobalt (Co), available in 1-5 and 2-17 series materials. The maximum energy product ranges from 18 to 30 MGOe (mega gauss oersted), and due to its high Curie temperature and low temperature coefficient, it can be used at high temperatures. 【Features】 ■ Resistant to rust and high temperatures ■ Maximum energy product of 18 to 30 MGOe ■ Exceptional temperature stability of magnetic properties *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

Samarium-cobalt magnet, Samco magnet

Micro products and high precision are one of our strengths, and we can offer samples of magnets for free.

It is a molded sintered product primarily composed of samarium and cobalt, available in two material types: 1-5 series (SmCo5) and 2-17 series (Sm2Co17). It has a very strong magnetic force, second only to neodymium, and possesses heat resistance. However, due to its brittleness, care must be taken in handling to avoid chipping or cracking. Additionally, it is resistant to rust, so surface treatment is not necessary, but surface treatments such as plating can be applied to prevent chipping. Compared to neodymium magnets, the magnetic force is slightly reduced (about 1/4 lower), but it is still a very powerful magnet. The change in magnetic force with temperature is relatively small, making it suitable for applications requiring temperature stability and high-temperature use.
